Kunthirikkyam or Frankincense
• It is an aromatic resin used in incense and perfumes, obtained from trees of the genus Boswellia.
• It has been used for hundreds of years for treating arthritis, healing wounds, strengthening the female hormone system and purifying the air.
Direction to use
• Setup a metallic bowl or incense burner to place charcoal discs on.
• Light the disc with a match or lighter.
• Put a small piece of Kunthirikkyam on top of the charcoal, once it has heated up.
• You may pour salt in the center of the disc, which will make the resin burn slower.
